Position: Thoracic Spine AP

The AP thoracic spine projection demonstrates vertebral bodies and intervertebral spaces. Proper exposure penetrates the thoracic region. This projection evaluates fractures, scoliosis, and degenerative changes. It is a core ARRT competency. It complements the lateral view.
