Position: AP Lumbar Spine Oblique Trauma

The trauma oblique lumbar projection uses angled beams to demonstrate pars defects. It is used when rotation is unsafe. Proper angulation prevents distortion. This projection complements AP and lateral trauma lumbar. It is recognized on ARRT exams.
