Position: Axiolateral Mandible Trauma

The trauma axiolateral mandible projection demonstrates the mandible with minimal movement. It evaluates fractures and TMJ alignment. Proper angulation prevents superimposition. This projection complements PA trauma mandible. It is recognized on ARRT exams.
