Position: AP Retroperitoneum

The AP retroperitoneum projection evaluates kidneys, ureters, and psoas margins. It is used for trauma and infection. Proper centering ensures full visualization. This projection complements lateral retroperitoneum. It is recognized on ARRT exams.
