Position: Elbow AP

The AP elbow projection evaluates the distal humerus and proximal forearm. The arm is fully extended with the hand supinated. This projection assesses joint spaces and fractures. Proper centering ensures accurate visualization of the elbow anatomy. It is a core ARRT competency.
