Position: Trauma Lawrence Shoulder
The Lawrence method is an inferosuperior axial projection used for trauma. The arm is abducted as tolerated while the beam passes from inferior to superior. This projection evaluates dislocations and joint alignment. Proper positioning prevents distortion. It is frequently tested on ARRT exams.
