Position: Upper GI LPO

The LPO upper GI projection demonstrates the gastric fundus filled with contrast. It evaluates hiatal hernias and gastric rotation. Proper rotation prevents superimposition. This projection complements AP and RAO views. It is frequently tested on ARRT exams.
