Position: Trauma Lateral Foot

The trauma lateral foot projection demonstrates the foot in profile using a horizontal beam. It evaluates fractures and soft tissue injuries. Proper positioning prevents rotation. This projection complements AP views. It is a recognized ARRT competency.
