Position: Trauma Cross Table Knee

The cross table knee projection uses a horizontal beam to evaluate fractures and effusion. It is essential when the patient cannot flex the knee. Proper positioning prevents rotation. This projection complements AP and lateral views. It is a recognized ARRT trauma view.
