Position: Trauma AP Axial C Spine

The trauma AP axial cervical spine projection evaluates C3 through C7 when the patient cannot move. Proper angulation opens intervertebral spaces. A horizontal beam is used for safety. This projection complements cross table lateral views. It is a core ARRT trauma competency.
