Position: T Spine Swimmers

The Swimmers thoracic projection demonstrates the cervicothoracic junction. It is used when shoulders obscure the upper thoracic spine. Proper positioning separates the shoulders. This projection complements AP and lateral views. It is recognized on ARRT exams.
