Position: Ribs Oblique
Oblique rib projections rotate the patient 45 degrees to demonstrate axillary ribs. This view improves visualization of rib fractures. Proper rotation depends on the side of interest. It is essential for trauma imaging. It is frequently tested on ARRT exams.
