Position: Pediatric Bone Survey Lateral Skull

The lateral skull in a skeletal survey evaluates fractures and suture abnormalities. Proper immobilization prevents motion. This projection is essential for nonaccidental trauma evaluation. It complements AP skull views. It is a core ARRT pediatric requirement.
