Position: Pediatric Abdomen Frog Lateral

The frog lateral abdomen projection is used for infants to evaluate bowel gas patterns. The hips are flexed to stabilize the patient. A horizontal beam demonstrates air fluid levels. This projection complements AP abdomen. It is frequently tested on ARRT exams.
