Position: Lateral Mobile Elbow

The lateral mobile elbow projection demonstrates the elbow in profile using a horizontal beam. It evaluates effusion and fractures. Proper positioning prevents rotation. This projection complements AP mobile elbow. It is frequently tested on ARRT exams.
