Position: Fluoro Swallow AP

The AP swallow projection demonstrates symmetry of swallowing structures. It evaluates aspiration, motility, and structural abnormalities. Proper centering ensures full visualization of the pharynx. This projection complements the lateral view. It is frequently tested on ARRT exams.
