Position: Fluoro Retrograde Urethrogram AP
The AP retrograde urethrogram evaluates the male urethra using contrast injected retrograde. This projection identifies strictures, trauma, and urethral disruption. Proper centering ensures visualization from the bladder neck to the meatus. A horizontal beam prevents contrast layering. It is a recognized ARRT urologic fluoroscopy competency.
