Position: Facial Bones Waters
The Waters projection demonstrates the maxillary sinuses and orbital floors. The chin is elevated to project the petrous ridges below the maxillary sinuses. This projection evaluates facial fractures and sinus disease. Proper positioning prevents orbital distortion. It is a core ARRT competency.
