Position: AP Thoracic Spine Trauma Swimmers
The trauma AP swimmers projection demonstrates the cervicothoracic junction when lateral is insufficient. It is used in severe trauma. Proper centering ensures visualization of C7 to T3. This projection complements lateral swimmers. It is recognized on ARRT exams.
