Position: AP SI Joints

The AP SI joint projection demonstrates the sacroiliac joints symmetrically. A cephalic angle opens the joint spaces. This projection evaluates degenerative changes and inflammation. Proper centering prevents pelvic rotation. It is a standard ARRT requirement.
