Position: AP Lumbar Spine

The AP lumbar spine projection demonstrates vertebral bodies and disk spaces. Proper centering ensures visualization of L1 through L5. This projection evaluates fractures, degenerative changes, and alignment. It complements oblique and lateral views. It is a standard ARRT requirement.
