Position: AP Elbow Axial

The axial elbow projection demonstrates the distal humerus and proximal forearm with angled beams. It evaluates fractures when standard AP is limited. Proper angulation prevents distortion. This projection complements lateral elbow. It is recognized on ARRT exams.
