Position: AP Cervical Spine Fuchs

The Fuchs projection demonstrates the dens when the odontoid view is inadequate. The beam is angled to project the dens through the foramen magnum. Proper positioning prevents skull base superimposition. This projection complements odontoid views. It is frequently tested on ARRT exams.
