Position: AP Abdomen Neonatal

The neonatal AP abdomen projection evaluates bowel gas patterns and NEC. Proper centering ensures full abdominal coverage. Immobilization prevents motion. This projection is essential in NICU imaging. It is frequently tested on ARRT exams.
