Position: Shoulder Grashey

The Grashey projection is a true AP of the glenohumeral joint. The patient is rotated 35 to 45 degrees toward the affected side. This view opens the joint space and reduces superimposition. It is essential for evaluating degenerative changes. It is a standard ARRT competency.
