Position: Lateral Humerus Trauma Horizontal Beam

The horizontal beam lateral humerus projection demonstrates the humerus in profile. It evaluates fractures and soft tissue swelling. Proper positioning prevents rotation. This projection complements AP trauma humerus. It is a core ARRT competency.
