Position: Trauma AP Thoracic Spine

The trauma AP thoracic spine projection evaluates vertebral alignment and fractures. It is performed without moving the patient. Proper centering ensures visualization of the entire thoracic spine. This projection complements lateral trauma views. It is a standard ARRT competency.
