Oblique Foot

Position: Oblique Foot

The oblique foot projection rotates the foot 30 to 45 degrees to separate the metatarsals. It evaluates fractures and joint alignment. Proper rotation prevents distortion. This projection complements AP and lateral views. It is frequently tested on ARRT exams.
