Position: Oblique Sternoclavicular Joints

The oblique SC joint projection rotates the patient 10 to 15 degrees to demonstrate one joint without superimposition. It evaluates dislocation and joint space narrowing. Proper rotation is essential for diagnostic clarity. This projection complements AP SC views. It is a standard ARRT competency.
