Position: Lateral Coccyx Trauma

The trauma lateral coccyx projection demonstrates the coccyx in profile using a horizontal beam. It evaluates fractures and soft tissue injury. Proper positioning prevents rotation. This projection complements AP trauma coccyx. It is recognized on ARRT exams.
